Bach flowers to be zen
Has anyone tried Bach flowers? A friend recommended this site to
Apparently it’s natural and it helps to balance emotions. What do you think ?
Well in principle (plant essences, natural, all that …) it can be tempting but from an efficiency point of view, I warn you, it’s strictly a placebo effect (it works because you want it to work , basically). It is made on the principle of homeopathy. The active substance is therefore diluted beyond the threshold of perception.
Now, if, on me, wicked Cartesian that I am, it does not work, I have a friend who heals himself with and who is happy with it.
A doctor advised me to relieve the symptoms of anxiety, stress, panic … Personally, I have not tried it (I take homeopathy to treat myself). homeopathy works, I prefer this solution to aliopathy!
I have read contradictory studies on this subject, but you can try, at worst you will not have the desired effect …
Well anyway, for some ailments, allopathic medicine can relieve, but not cure (I know something about it, I have nervous eczema every summer), and for nervousness disorders, anxiety , without it being a real depression, the allopathic response is frankly not great: I had spoken of my anxiety state to my general practitioner a few years ago and I found myself on lexomil! I took one once, and decided to look at the plants!
For homeopathy, I am against FOR ME, but I absolutely do not criticize people who use it successfully for them. Moreover, my doctor (I changed after the “lady with lexomil”) who did not believe it either from a scientific point of view recognized that a pure placebo effect did not explain, or poorly, why that also worked on babies or animals!
It is true that, for my part, I have a weakness for plants, preferably in herbal teas … To balance moods, I had successfully taken tincture of St. John’s Wort a few years ago (it takes about 15 days to act and it takes a good month to fully feel the effects) BUT there are so many contraindications with St. John’s Wort in terms of drug interactions (contraceptive pill which no longer works among others) that unless you come across a practitioner (pharmacist or doctor) who really knows it, it is better not to try.
