Gain weight with protein
Hello everyone,
I’m 16, I measure 1m85 for only 63 kilos.
I do taekwondo, which means that I have developed muscles but which are not very visible either.
I’m not trying to sculpt a body, just gain weight. Because I am tall and I am super thin with only 63 kg.
At Decathlon, I saw protein concentrates to gain weight.
I was hoping you could tell me how to use them and if there are any risks.
PS: red belt of taekwondo. So when it comes to sport, I put my own money into it.
Thank you.
Hello,
1) if you want to take food supplements, it is better to favor quality products. So everything that is sold in sports supermarkets is supermarket level

2) what do you call “protein concentrates”? A protein powder will nourish your muscle to help it develop, provided you are doing weight training. Combat sports are not weight training so it won’t work.
3) you are ectomorphic. What you need is extra calories (like between 500 and 1,000 extra calories) to start putting on weight. Especially if (since) you have an intense physical activity which makes you burn the little calorie that you eat.
4) a “gainer” can help you (it’s a mixture of protein and carbohydrate). You can also achieve the same result by eating (a lot) more.
Thank you for your very detailed answer.
The thing is, my little brother (only 16 months younger than me) has a good little belly, even though I eat twice as much as he does. I can’t stop eating.
That’s why I’m desperate …
You don’t have the same metabolism (or maybe the same lifestyle) that’s all.
Ok thank you.
It is possible that I gain weight over the years (in two / three years). I’m just sixteen and my puberty is almost over.
when i was 16 i weighed 48kilos. I weigh 72 (for the same size).
it is very good
