Hypothiroidy and protein diet
it’s been 9 months since I moved and left my hometown with my two children to join my partner.
Since my move my tsh rate has continued to drop and here I am at 0.17 mU / L.
my weight also increased and I reached 66kg compared to 57 when I arrived. I am 35 years old in August, I am 164 and would like to lose weight. I would like to reach 55 kg
I talked to my doctor who offered me a protein diet based on sachets (to choose from vivance, bio2, biomed nutrimed, easydiet, insudiet, protidiet).
at the rate of two sachets at each meal, without fruit for two weeks.
I take levothyrox 100. When I arrived I took 50.
What do you think?
Thank you for your attention
I think it’s illogical !!! levotyrox makes you lose weight !!! on the contrary, you should have lost weight if the tsh pile drops and your levo is increased !! (you know these women who died for wanting to lose weight, well there were a lot of them with doses of more than 400 – 600 levo) it’s very weird …
the protein diet works that is for sure
anyway but you know enough to eat grilled meats without sauces and consume a lot of milk (more than a liter a day in various forms but not cheese eh lol) and there are also the fish
but I think you should do another analysis not your thyro nor your levo which made you fat
hello bidibulle 69
I have the same problem as you and I have been taking levotyros for 10 years, I went up to 225.
today I am 150.
At the beginning I was like you I gained 8 kilos in 3 months and I was quickly out of breath
I am followed every 6 months by an endocrine, but I never told me to go on a protein diet
today hui I lost the weight I had gained
by paying attention to my diet
and think that levothyrox is for life that we take it, it is my case for me
