Is isolate effective?
Hello everyone, I am 18 years old, I measure 1m86 for 71kg, quite dry as you can see. I have been practicing bodybuilding for 5 months already, yes I had results, but as I am dry, only definition, no volume, and especially strength. I force myself to follow a good diet, whatever has a good protein concentration and that I find at home, I eat it.
A friend advised me to isolate, a pure protein, he told me …
I would like to know if the isolate is suitable for me, since I am dry, I do not want to take gainer, a friend made it a bad experience.
Good goal is to reach a minimum of 80kg, with as little fat as possible, basically, a lean mass gain.

I was advised to … Scitec also has an Isolate, but at 25euro the 700g
Thank you

If you eat a lot of protein already, maybe your carbohydrate intake is too low.
Discussion: Is isolate effective?
when you eat steak or gruyère or eggs, is it “effective”?
well, it’s the same, it’s just proteins extracted from any other nutrient.
it doesn’t have to be “effective” or not, just to supplement a food not rich in protein.
we will say that the isolate is a purer protein and that this is felt at the level of digestion, in principle the isolate is an alternative for those who do not tolerate lactose well, present in most standard proteins
Since I am a student, I do not have the opportunity to have a healthy and balanced diet, at noon Sandwich, kebab, mcdo, Kfc, and in the evening, I work in a shisha bar and I make myself deliver kebabs. It is for bodybuilding, which I practice in the meantime, 2 hours a day, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & amp; Friday..I would like to have a nice Power / Volume progression … And if I ask for this “Pure” protein will it help me to have results that will suit my goals?
Thank you !
if you are looking for power and volume, you will have to fall back first on a gainer + creatine, once the weight you want to achieve is obtained, you end up consuming only whey
Creatine is just the fleet; gaainer, more fat than anything else, and then I was advised to attack the whey, which I could gain in potency & amp; volume? creatine? at my level ? I don’t want to start with creatine? (= water retention)
Basically, take dry mass (about 5kg), so what would be the appropriate supplement? Isolate? Whey? Creatine?)
you can take whey but know that the mass gain will be very slowly so you have to be patient
Thank you !
with or without whey, if your general diet is rotten like that, the results will not be terrible at all (or you are really lucky!) You
have to have a good food hygiene to have results in muscle building, so don’t expect miracles
It should be noted that there is still some protein that can replace the meal if you really do not have the time, but it is true that you should have at least two good meals a day, the proteins providing the rest of nutrients has the organism that we do not or little in a healthy diet and known as classic

we have enough time! there is always a way to eat properly even when you are a student …. you bake pasta in 10 minutes in the evening, you add 100gr of tuna, you mix it all up, hop in a tuperware! and here is your meal for the next day noon is ready!
it is on this easier to go to the kebab or mc do tu coin …. but the results will not be the same …. after that it is up to everyone to choose.

since you look quite thin you can take a 50/50, you will take less fat than the gainer and it is more complete than the whey ….
Ok ok, thanks.
If I take 90% or more Whey Protein (96% Isolate at worst), would I not gain potency / volume?
Dry mass = protein?
50/50 = Dry and fatty mass at the same time!
The choice is quickly made, if this is true?
Ok ok, thanks.

already gain muscle mass with zero fat forgetting it is not possible …. you can limit this fat gain but you will always take a little.
and it is not with only whey that you will gain your 5 kilos …. you have to increase carbohydrates too, in my opinion it is more important … so you have to review your entire diet.
whey is good for after the sports session with fast carbohydrates (such as compote, bar ….) to create a peak of insulin which will allow better absorption of the whey protein /// but the rest of the day it is also necessary to eat well! otherwise it is dead! so dough, rice, semolina, wholemeal bread, potato for carbohydrates and white and red meats, fish, eggs, milk for proteins.
don’t believe that with a box of whey you’re done
ok but, I didn’t say yes!
I’m just telling you, that with whey + high protein diet and carbohydrates as you say, will that allow me to gain lean mass? or isolate allows it to take more dry mass, since it is more “pure”.
Thanks!
otherwise you can combine whey and gainer:
gainer always and only after weight training
and whey at all other times

really?
the gainer can very well be taken at any time of the day …..
and the whey on the contrary it is better to take it upon getting up, or before and / or after training. it is more judicious … .
the gainer you have to choose a 50/50 and choose a good brand (avoid those with a huge sugar level!) and with that you will not make a lot of fat, provided you have a correct diet on the side!
I think the best is to take the gainer just after training because that’s when the muscle needs it most,
I know very well that you can take it at any time but let’s say that to limit fat intake, consuming the gainer after the weight training session seems to me from a strategic point of view to be the ideal period
now concerning the why if you read correctly, I said that whey could be consumed at any time of the day, which effectively implies, as soon as you get up and possibly before sport

okay
As
for isolates in general, they are obtained by microfiltration or by ultrafiltration or even by ion exchange which removes most of the lactose and fat, which results in their protein contents being concentrated. from 80% to 95%. And besides the very good biological value they have a very good assimilation like the hydolysates.
