Protein is not a miracle product. It’s just a dietary supplement. The main thing is to eat correctly and, if necessary, to correct with proteins.
In your case (beginner) it wouldn’t make sense to go for products that make you gain more muscle.
Eat, properly, learn to eat according to your needs in order to gain weight without going too fast (we quickly get a kind of anorexia backwards in muscles, considering that the more “fat” the better, forgetting to check if you take more muscle or almost than fat).
I’ll give you an example of a case that can lead to eating protein: mine.
I am a vegetarian, but I eat eggs and dairy products. Proteins help to break your head a little less over what you eat in this case.
Another use for me: to avoid getting too fat: a protein prevents me from rushing into something else. So you see that the use of proteins to gain weight is not always very clear.
We especially need supplements when we are looking to lose weight, in fact … to make up for everything that we no longer eat.
