Protein and Constipation, Help Please!
I have been working out for 3 years, I had tried to take protein, but every time after a week, I had severe constipation. I have changed the type of protein several times (products from Decathlon like super megamass 2000, but also prot from EA Fit) and it’s always the same problem.
I quit for 1 month, take it again and start constipation.
I go with a gradual dose, I drink a lot of water, I eat fruit but nothing helps.
I heard that you could be allergic to lactose, but I have no problem with milk.
Could someone help me?
You surprise me a little in what you say, since normally, when taking protein, we tend to have diarrhea rather than anything else …
You should consult your doctor!
Yes it is that the proteins in high doses constipate I advise you to continue to drink a lot of water (2l / d at least) and there is a herbal tea called dogadan here is exclusively in Turkish stores 2.80 € the box of 20 sachets or on the internet (it’s an herbal tea against constipation and it’s radical) if you can’t find near your home, you also have rhubarb tablets in the supermarket from the Juvamine brand (6 € a bottle) it works great too!
Here is a test and tell us if it is better it
really works and at least it is not
I do not know who told you that the proteins gave the diarrhea but it is very wrong I promise you I did high protein diets I know what I’m talking about
The question remains, can you exercise a “muscu” type activity, without supplementation becoming “essential”, then escalation ????. Even if certain herbal products are not “meds” , they are active and certainly not trivial.
I hope they remain a few sports or activities or the priority and the results are not measured by the amounts of supplements and supplements eaten.
For intestinal balance, however, I recommend lactic ferments.
AGAINST CONSTIPATION THE FLAX SEEDS SENSATIONAL ALSO !!
Thank you for your advice (herbal teas and others). I had already gone to the doctor who had given me a 1-month treatment against constipation, I had not told him that I had taken prot.
Today I’m fine since I’m not taking anything. But my pb is not how to “un-constipate”, but rather how come I get constipated if I take prot.
While I don’t take it in large doses at all, I still take much less than the recommended dose (half or less) and I was drinking a lot of water (2 to 3 L)
I thought it was the type. protein, quality, which is not right for me?
you have your answer, it must be this brand that you can’t stand!
otherwise see with your doc!
and test of other brands to see
