Protein powder diet compatible with little sport?
19-year-old student, I would like to gain weight (currently: 1m73 for 55kg).
I live alone with a fairly good diet for a student (relatively complete meals, consumption of red meat 2/3 times a week etc).
I eat a lot and with an appetite, but I am not gaining weight, which is a problem for me.
So I am thinking of opting for a high protein diet based on this powder:

Without staying holed up at home watching TV, I don’t. a lot of sport and I go 1/2 times a week in a gym.
My question then is: will taking protein powder lead to weight gain if I maintain this lifestyle?
Knowing that I cannot go to a gym more than twice a week due to lack of time …
What are your suggestions? should I forget the idea of protein powder in this case?
If not over what period should I take it?
Thank you for your next answers!
uh a high protein diet is to lose weight O_o
Sinan before taking food supplements make yourself a good diet! Calculate your protein intake for the day and it turns out you won’t even need it. Because working out once a week is not a big deal
Wow, so much for me .. I considered taking protein for mass gain …
So according to you, an additional intake of protein powder, will not lead to mass gain if I do not increase my activity physical?
No that’s not what I meant, if you want to gain mass of course you have to increase your protein, but not only that, you must also increase your carbohydrate and fat intake!
A word of advice: Eat balanced 5 times a day + 4 hours of muscu per week + sleep at least 8 hours
It’s simple, protein level, you must not exceed 2gr per kg per day or 110 of proteins per day, you can also do sport at home (pumps, abs …).
45scientific for good reason !!! at least 5 meals a day, because you are what we call an ectomorph, like me you have difficulty gaining weight, it is even advisable to take 6 (+ a lot of water)!
if not for sleep, 8h is normally for non-athletes, think about it!
apart from that for mass gain, there is creatine, find out about it that can be useful.
