Protein powder (to be mixed with water or milk)
I would like to have a protein supplement to have more flesh, a little more shape. Protein is what it takes to build muscle mass.
So I thought I would turn to protein source powders that can be bought in pharmacies or gyms. To mix with water or milk.
what do you think of those who have tested?
I think it’s not bad as a supplement, just before or after a workout I take whey and it helps I think for the reconstruction of the muscle. But for that it is necessary to do exercises which mobilize the muscles well otherwise the intake of proteins alone is useless.
So totally useless without physical exercise?
Here is the body smaller, more flabby than a few months ago, so I would like to gain a little weight, have more flesh, for that I have to eat more but of course eat intelligently so not by stuffing myself of pizza but looking for foods that are sources of protein which are the nutrients going into that.
So I was wondering if in addition to eating everything that provides protein such as meat, egg tofu tuna etc. if the protein powder could help me achieve my goal or if without sport it will have no results?
I am not an expert but the protein (whether in powder form or in foods such as meat etc.) will not change the tone etc.
It is necessary to solicit the muscle to make it work and to nourish it within the hour with good things. Otherwise it would be too easy we would build muscles without doing anything.
Losing fat without doing a lot of sport is no problem (which will therefore help us to see the muscles more necessarily) but the muscles will not really grow.
If you take say say isolate brand whey (super good chocolate) or any protein supplement product and don’t do any muscle sports its unfortunately going to be of no use. Your muscle does not spend anything and does not want to grow by not being stimulated, the extra proteins that you will take will turn into triglyceride (fat) and you will gain weight instead of gaining muscle.
Otherwise during a big training BCAAs help a lot and the whey is better to take it after the gym
Already, you must have a diet adapted to the activity, physical or sports, practiced …
Personally, I take whey, for the instructions take a look here:
