Hello everyone, I am 27 years old and I have recently been practicing (3 years) running in competition. Being a member of a club. I started on 10klm asphalt. (too fast for me) to quickly move on to the trail 15 to 20klm. I’m trying to get a taste of it, and I extend on dut 30klm (the vulcan for those who know) but I would have liked to have some advice for all products optimizing muscle mass, feeling a little light muscular, which is inevitable for the trail.
I also do Trail 20 and 40km with dev from 1500 to 3000m.
I’m in Marseille and you?
Muscle mass is not necessary, especially if you gain mass you will be less efficient in certain situations such as climbs for example. In addition, your cartilages and bones have developed according to your body size. So increasing your mass could have consequences in terms of inflammation and other worries.
So you need to develop power (and not mass) with the muscles you have. Little advice:
– Find yourself a staircase and take steps !!! this is the best way to develop power and in addition you do interval training at the same time.
– do flexes with outstretched arms
Now, to be completely honest, I take PRO and FLX from agel. PRO (coming back with a new formula soon) allows me to regenerate my muscles after every workout and race. FLX and super to avoid tendonitis and cartilage inflammation.
