Strong hair loss since stopping food supplements
Here, I did a hair strengthening oenobiol cure. Result after three months of recommended treatment: super beautiful hair, super shiny, the best! Except that 3 weeks later, I started to lose a lot of hair (as soon as I pass my hand, I have at least 4-5 that come loose each time, and I don’t pull on it!).
I wonder what this is due to. It is true that there has been a small change in my diet: I eat very little meat since February (maybe twice a month), I try to eat fish (once a week), and I consume 4 eggs per week to compensate. Afterwards, I also tell myself that I didn’t eat a lot of meat before, so that shouldn’t make such a big change. But I read that an iron deficit could be the cause (it is true that it has been well 2 months since I ate red meat).
Suddenly, I wonder if taking oenobiol did not obscure the problem during these three months or if it is the cause.
I would like to start treatment again. But is this really the solution?
I wanted to clarify that I am in great shape! I never dry my hair and it’s natural at the moment (no dye or whatever). And I changed my shampoo brand not too long ago, from organic: Alverde!
Thank you in advance for your answers ! I was planning to do a cystine B6 treatment.
The hair is constantly renewed. When one dies, another takes his place and knocks him down. It is therefore normal to lose a little each day.
some women lose 20 to 25 hairs per day, it is their norm; others, very “hairy” and subjected to a rapid hair cycle, can lose up to 70, 80, even 100, and this is still normal.
Maybe your loss is normal and you forgot that you were losing some before you took the supplements. Either way, it is normal to lose more during the seasonal falls in the spring and fall.
A dermatologist could give you a diagnosis of your hair and possibly order a blood test to check for possible deficiencies.
In the meantime, I give you a link with advice:
Thank you for your answer.
Indeed it must be seasonal, I do not think it is because of a deficiency: my hair and my nails are growing very quickly at the moment!
I hesitated to take food supplements again but I will test one of your (natural) methods for a while.
Thank you for reassuring me!
