Supplements (fresubin compote) & anorexia
Hello everyone, I regularly post on this forum.
I am 15 years old, I have been restrictive anorexic for almost 1 year, has 3-4 kg of the minimum BMI and I am restoring to gain weight with the help of a supplement as well!
The problem is that I eat but certainly not enough because yesterday I went to my pediatrician and I lost 2kg in 3 weeks despite my efforts ..
I am at the very start in terms of weight it disgusts me; it gives me the impression of going back to square one;
the problem is that I do not accept to eat even more more more because I am really full with each meal to have cramps and it is not my stomach which is growing so I had to resume my supplements the morning .
Currently I had dessert creams that I iced delical floridine the problem is that they have changed the recipe and the new recipe is killing my stomach and since I have to take more I change and I opt for them. Fresubin compotes for all tastes and fruit compotes.
This morning I took one that was in the fridge, it was not bad
My real question:
Could you if you take this type of supplements tell me if they are better when they are in the fridge, if they can be put in the microwave so that they are hot (I did it with my normal compotes) or if it is good in ice cream? Or by stirring them before taking them?
Sorry for the pavement! Thank you for your answers
I had frésubins & amp; fortimels drinks, and in the microwave in winter it’s the best. Like a cappuccino or a vanilla, caramel, chocolate drink … a little heavier of course.
I was in the same situation as you, despite the supplements I was losing, because very clearly I was compensating for them without realizing it.
Letting go of food completely is the only thing that will help, supplements are a crutch.
Good luck ,
Unfortunately the drinks do not work at all, I tried all the types and the compotes only pass
the supplements I take them in addition to my 4 meals a day ..
Yet I do not have the impression of compensating for this. are my parents who take care of my other main meals, perhaps unconsciously.
