Vitamin D food
in which food is vitamin D found
If you want you have the contents of the ANSES database
Vitamin D intakes are often counted in IU, with 1µg = 40 IU.
Basically, it is mainly fatty fish which are rich in vitamin D. Anything that is cheese and cottage cheese provides it, but much less. Afterwards, vitamin D is also super practical because it can be provided other than through food: it is synthesized by exposure to the sun.
The ANSES recommendation is 15µg / day, which roughly corresponds to 100g of fatty fish or 1kg of cottage cheese. But beware of oily fish, they fix pollutants so you should avoid more than twice a week!
Have a good day
A question about vitamin D, if someone can answer me:
What percentage of needs is covered by exposure to the sun (in France for example) and that by food?
And I read somewhere that if you expose yourself enough all summer, you can cover your needs for the rest of the year. To confirm ?
I found the passage which speaks of sufficient exposure to the sun to cover the needs over a year:
“One hour a day in summer, head and arms bare, that is enough to build up a sufficient stock of vitamin D for the whole day. year »
Dico-guide of your health, Damien Mascret, 2016.
We can think that the simple fact of walking outside for an hour in the sun (in the afternoon for example) a day all summer is included. therefore sufficient to synthesize the lives. D for the remainder of the year.
