VITAMIN D (Zyma D)
Good morning all;
Who is doing or has already done a winter cure of vitamin D.
I have just started a cure of Zyma D 10,000 IU / ml at a rate of 10 g / day
Your feedback interests me. Thank you
Hello perry,
When you say 10g / d does that mean that you are at 100,000 IU / d oO?
Hello Charles;
I mean 10 drops, more exactly I take 14 which correspond to 4000 IU / ml from the ZymaD vial 10,000 IU / ml
This is the prescription on the instructions for use.
I am waiting for your return to know your interpretation and if you use
the ZymaD in a bottle. Thanking you
The exact count dear Charles:
Each ZymaD drop corresponds to 300 IU.
Which makes for 14 drops 4200 IU / day
Ah you meant drops, sorry, for me g = grams (notation of the international system, well 14 drops that makes 4000 IU / not 4000 IU / ml, otherwise it is not homogeneous). Ok, so nothing to jump to the ceiling.
So no, I don’t use any, but 4000 IU / d is what is recommended in some of my readings (Julien Venaisson among others, who references his writings through numerous scientific studies).
Personally I am rather at 2000 IU / d and I am very dynamic despite the winter (I do not have the opportunity to be exposed to the sun, given my schedules). So with 4000 UI you should be fine
.
Have a good day.
Can you give me a few more minutes?
What effect do you feel at 2000 IU and after how long, because my first intake was taken today.
I had a prescription for UVEDOSE 100,000 IU from my GP, but I sided with Vincent’s advice for a wiser dosage.
Honestly, I didn’t ask myself the question. I had increased the doses before the winter, I had no particular form problems at the time, and I did not have any during the winter. It is in part to vitamin D supplementation that I attribute this given my lesser other intakes.
But as I said, having no problem with shape, the effects are more of a non-drop in shape rather than a super shape. This corresponds well to my biological expectation.
Since your doctor has prescribed 100,000 IU for you, you have a priori need (deficiency maybe?). You are free not to follow her recommendations, but hey I do not think she prescribed this for nothing …
With a massive dose like 100,000 you will start to have effects quite quickly. For 4000 IU / d it will take longer, several weeks.
Ah and last point, vitamin D is a fat soluble vitamin. It is therefore better assimilated when consumed with lipids. So either during a meal (because normally there are lipids), or with a spoon of olive / rapeseed / walnut / linseed oil.
Good night.
Prescription for severe fatigue with anxiety. But 100,000 IU suddenly seemed a bit too much to me, especially after reading Julien’s comments, namely that it skyrockets to drop even lower after 2 months.
And Uvedose does not have a very good reputation for its excessive dosage.

It’s kind of like the whole dosage is really very important. Otherwise it’s really positive.
See you soon

Hi yes the dosage is to be seen
But before that and before starting a cure of vitamin D or C or zinc or anything else you have to be
sure you need it
It is true that many people are deficient but it is necessary know your deficiencies before doing anything
So you have to do a good health check
Personally I know that I have zinc deficiencies donate 3 times a year I take a 1 month zinc cure and I feel real effect positive especially on the quality of my skin
But everyone has different problems
At the moment I recommend a sun cure instead, it will be just as effective
