Whey milk sugar
I know that the post section may not be the right one but there are so many that I don’t know where to post lol
so I would like to know if the sugar in milk (lactose is its ? finally on the label they say sugar and not lactose) is a natural sugar and therefore in theory “good for health” (I say not not to gain weight) or it is part of the sugars that should be limit to 50g daily. Because I take almost 400/500 ml of milk every day and I see that there is 5g of sugar per 100ML so that worries me a little! thank you in advance
For your information, all sugars are “natural” and even if this was not the case, the body does not differentiate between a natural molecule and the same molecule created artificially. The difference between good sugar and bad sugar lies elsewhere.
Good sugar is that which is digested slowly like that contained in fruit (be careful with fruit juices on the other hand). Bad sugars are digested quickly and cause blood sugar levels to rise too quickly.
It should also be remembered that sugar is an ESSENTIAL nutrient for the proper functioning of the body and especially the brain. You just have to avoid eating too much of it. To do this, it is better to avoid cakes and other processed products rather than milk.
