Whey, When and how much to take?
I am 17 years old, 1m82 for 60 kg, I started bodyweight training for almost 2 years (at home) and I registered in the gym for 2 months for a goal of mass gain.
I just bought my first sachet of protein powder, which contains 80% protein. A 25g scoop is provided, i.e. 20g of pure protein.
I have read a lot of things regarding the dosage and the period of taking whey but opinions differ …
For the moment, I take:
– on training days (2 to 3 times a week) : one scoop in the morning and one scoop in post workout (i.e. 40g of pure protein)
– the other days: one scoop in the morning (i.e. 20g of pure protein)
I know that he wanted is difficult to give me an opinion concerning the dosage not knowing my diet (I consider not consuming enough protein but I find it difficult to assess myself), but at the level of the times of taking, does that sound correct to you?

So, your whey, you have to take it after training, that’s what it’s used for, but otherwise, taking it in the morning is not the best solution, knowing that two hours after your intake of whey, you have more protein in your blood, eat eggs in the morning instead.
If you really want to take whey during the day, the best is 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., between meals, otherwise it will be useless. But you must know that it is not a miracle eh, your solid diet is much more important and effective.
