Which protein to associate with the practice of a sport?
Good evening or hello, I started jujitsu and self defense since September 2012 and today I want to supplement my diet with protein powder to gain some mass.
I am 20 years old I measure 1m80 for 71 kg, we can not say that I am to be pitied but most of my weight is in the legs (5 years of swimming and 3 years of football being young) and the upper body leaves much to be desired! ^^
I have about 4 hours of sport per week (twice 2 hours), Monday and Thursday, and from time to time I go running on the weekend.
So I would like to know what types of proteins to take (I saw that there were a lot of choices in decathlon and being a great neophyte I need to
help), as well as when, before or after sport, only on training days or every day?
Thank you for your possible answers!
You can go to forums like superphysique.org or nutrimuscle.com
Elsewhere nutrimuscle is one of the only sites that sell quality products.
At Decathlon, they sell shit powders made in China from cheese waste mixed with gastric juices extracted from calves’ estomat … To think about.
Everything will find a lot of information on these 2 sites, especially in terms of weight training program.
Thanks to you fitalex for this info, I’ll go see it!
Take protein powder to do 4 hours of sport / week, blah …
And, eat well, did you think about it
Well, the thing is, I eat well but I don’t gain weight, so that’s why I have the idea of taking protein!
You also need carbohydrates, and rest to overcompensate …
You say that you eat, and that you do not put on weight? Conclusion, you are not eating enough. You don’t especially need protein.
I’ll try to take your advice then
Eat meats, fish such as salmon / tuna rich in leucine!
And dairy products
These proteins from food contain essential amino acids for muscles!
It’s better for food
And as far as protein powder is concerned.
I myself am a fitness coach. I don’t take it especially.
